Located in Kereita forest, Kereita Wilderness Ventures (KWV) is an outdoor and travel
agency specializing in outdoor sports, team building, all levels of hikes and mountaineering.
It was established in 2011 and registered as a business in the same year. KWV is made up of
local youth whose passion for environment conservation and protection was inspired by
Kijabe Environment Volunteers (KENVO) a community based organization involved in
forest restoration activities in the Kikuyu Escarpment forests in the Aberdares.
